The Challenge
The project required fabricating intricate CNC-cut steel panels with highly detailed artistic patterns. Creating accurate full-scale templates before fabrication was a major challenge in itself. A second, unrelated difficulty was sourcing night-glow paint, which wasn't readily available in the local market.
Our Approach
Weston's team first prepared full-size templates using large black plastic sheets, allowing every design to be marked accurately before CNC cutting. Once fabricated, the decorative panels were installed with precision. For the nighttime visual effect, the team sourced specialised glow-in-the-dark paint directly from Ambala, since it wasn't available locally.
Outcome
- Complex public art installation completed successfully
- High-precision CNC artistic panels installed
- Attractive glow effect achieved during nighttime
- Project completed within the scheduled duration
- Created a visually distinctive public space for New Town
